Abstract

It is true to say that Chatbots had an increase caused by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, among the various broad domains of knowledge, they are also acting in the role of virtual assistants directed to the educational universe. A virtual assistant was developed based on an ontology elaborated from documents directed to graduate students. Several tools contributed to the viability of the project, among them the services of Amazon Web Services through resources such as Amazon Lex and AWS Lambda. It was verified through preliminary tests that the experiment showed efficiency in service and the possibility of registering a range of new intentions that can be identified throughout its use.
