This paper aims to understand how the international literature addresses the evaluation of public sector innovation and which measurement practices have been used, in addition to seeking research opportunities. Therefore, the ProKnow-C was used as a tool for selection of the bibliographic portfolio and systemic analysis according to the constructivist theoretical affiliation of performance evaluation. The results obtained allowed the identification of research gaps and promoted future research directions by identifying no methods that consider the particularities of the organizational context.
