Abstract

In order to understand the relationship established between smartwhatches and smartphones in the current social context, the present study concentrates its objective in performing a comparative analysis of different aspects present in these two digital artifacts. Based on a qualitative-descriptive methodology, the research raises data on usability, interface design and also the inconsistencies and limitations present in both systems (smart clocks and smart phones). Based on the findings, a discussion of the theme is carried out, whose purpose is to point the direction of these technologies and evaluate if they are able to coexist in the current technological scenario. For the development of the study, two steps were taken. The first involves a bibliographical research with the objective of extracting the theoretical contents and the second a critical analysis of the results found.
