Abstract

Knowledge management is characterized by the ability of organizations to manage their intellectual capital. The transdisciplinary approach breaks disciplinary barriers to create unity of knowledge. Both permeate different areas of knowledge and unify knowledge. The objective was to analyze how knowledge management has adopted the transdisciplinary approach, through an integrative literature review. The use of the transdisciplinary approach facilitates knowledge management, in terms of transference and use of knowledge, in decision-making and in problem solving. In conclusion, knowledge management has a lot to evolve with the transdisciplinary approach, because it is not just a union of knowledge, but a cultural transformation, a new way of positioning itself in the face of the complexity of the problems.
