Abstract

The article reflects on the relevance of combining the semi-structured interview-type research instrument with Knowledge Management (KM) applied in the development of a university extension project. With a qualitative approach, this study consists of basic research, bibliographical review about KM and the use of research instruments for data collection that corroborate the elaboration and execution of university extension projects. It is concluded that semi-structured interviews are instruments for capturing, building and sharing knowledge and, therefore, fundamental for the management of projects of this nature.
