With the growth of market competitiveness companies need to work with cost
reduction and customer satisfaction, for this they use increasingly better performance
levels, which can be achieved with the use of continuous improvement programs. In this
context, the relevance of this work lies in studying the influence that knowledge
management can exert on the productive system, from the point of view of innovations,
creativity and improvements in processes, in addition to organizational conditions,
enhancing its prospects of success through the application of a case study. We consider,
based on the results obtained in the study, that the intertwinings of kaizen with knowledge
management are positively encouraged by stimulating creativity, innovation and continuous
improvements, and these tools are very advantageous for both the organization and its
employees.
