Abstract

This study is a bibliometric analysis aiming to examine the current state of
collaborative research in universities. Data was collected from the Web of Science and Scopus
databases, resulting in 37 articles selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The
analysis was performed using Vosviewer. The findings indicate a growing interest in the subject
since 2008, with a focus on institutional productivity in the United States, led by NC State
University. Wallenstein stands out as the most productive author in collaborative research
related to health. The bibliometric analysis also allowed for the identification of prominent
keywords and the evolution of scientific approaches in this field, providing valuable insights
for future research and exploration of new possibilities in this area.
