Abstract

This study presents a literature review on knowledge measurement, highlighting its relevance in the strategic management of organizational knowledge. Main objective is to propose a conceptual framework for generating and measuring knowledge, aiming to contribute to the production of knowledge at the organizational level. To the analysis, a narrative methodology was adopted. Articles and theses were collected from databases data and selected based on rigorous application of criteria. As a result, it was observed that the use of indicators and metrics drives informed decision-making and encourages collaboration in the organizational environment. Given the complexity of this challenge, the importance of measuring knowledge becomes indisputable, being crucial to leveraging the competitive advantage and growth of organizations.
