Abstract

Social problems are still troubling factors in the world. In this way, social entrepreneurship is seen as an option, and that, the social entrepreneur needs to have his entrepreneurial skills developed to achieve his mission. Design Thinking is presented as a promising way to add experience to the social entrepreneur and contribute to the development of his skills. Thus, this research aims to identify how Design Thinking contributes to the development of the skills of social entrepreneurs. Methodologically, the research is characterized as qualitative, exploratory, descriptive and bibliographical. As a result, it has been found that since Design Thinking has a human-centered approach, it contributes to the development of the social entrepreneur through practical experience in strategic social projects.
