Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the degree of maturity of Knowledge Management in a paperboard and corrugated packaging company. The research is of an applied research and the method characterized as a single case study. Data collection was done through interviews, document analysis and questionnaire application, according to the Asian Productivity Organization (APO) model. This study contributes to the advancement of GC research in the pulp and paper industry. The findings demonstrate that the company has a degree of maturity in Level 4, which means that the organization develops continuous strategies for KM implementation, such as knowledge sharing in its database, cross-functional teams for problem solving and incentive to innovation, and learning through capacities and training.
