Abstract

Complexity and instability are elements present in the oil and gas industry, making it challenging to predict and deal with all the elements that may impact the safety of your operations. In this sense, knowledge is considered a fundamental factor to confer resilience in this sector. This article presents a knowledge-oriented resilience assessment framework. The framework consists of a knowledge model that represents elements that condition human performance and determine the potential for resilience. The framework was established based on an interdisciplinary approach, mobilizing specialists in several areas. The approach involved a review of the literature and initiatives in various sectors, the experimental development of technologies and an experimental application with organizations involved in oil and gas sector
