Abstract

The Digital Government approach seeks to deliver social value by offering agile and efficient services focused on the needs of the population. In addition to digital technologies, the involvement and active participation of citizens in the design and use of public services are among the main drivers for a government's digital transformation. This work then presents a survey of methods and practices to promote citizen participation in Digital Government initiatives resulting from systematic literature mapping. The main findings are: methods (Digital Transformation and Digital Governance); and, practical (Citizen Centered and E-participation). Among the research opportunities identified is the development of a practical guide for the digital transformation of public services focused on the citizen.
