Abstract

Abstract: Learning Commons (LC) are environments that aim to facilitate the production of knowledge and enable more interactive learning in libraries. Knowledge management (KM) can be, therefore, an alternative for the improvement of these practices. In this sense, the objective of this article is analyzed as contributions of LC practices used in libraries to the KMprocess. The methodological procedures employed include the definition of the concepts of support, context and trust, and were structured from the theoretical framework. Through the methodology, a relationship will be made between LC practices and KM processes applied in libraries. The results of the application will be presented in a future work. The main contribution of this work in progress is to show a useful methodological way to evaluate the relationship between LC and KM practices in a library.
