Abstract

In the 21st century, the business scenario requires organizations to apply tools capable of creating a competitive advantage through Knowledge Management. This article aims to carry out a diagnosis of knowledge management in the CIASC company, based on the model proposed by Bukowitz & Williams (2002). The research methodology adopted is qualitative and descriptive, with a cross-sectional approach, and was conducted through a case study. The results indicate the Evaluate section with 52.1%, showing that the difficulties encountered such as existing knowledge and information are not evaluated in a systematic way, generating difficulties in management; difficulty understanding and evaluating organizational performance; and little monitoring of the GC process.
