Abstract

Based on the premise of agriculture as one of the pillars of human support, knowledge is an asset that can be exploited to make agricultural management more efficient. Therefore, it is considered essential to understand how Knowledge Management can contribute to this segment. Therefore, this study aims to verify the Knowledge Management practices applied to the agricultural context and its methodology is the application of an integrative review, using productions retrieved from the Scielo and Scopus databases. The research included and discussed in the study makes it possible to conclude that Knowledge Management is an ally in improving cultivation techniques, enhancing the use of available resources and treating knowledge as a key part in the expansion of the production chain, even though it encounters barriers in its diffusion.
