Abstract

Leadership communication in the organizational context is a topic of growing interest
and, reinforcing the importance of communication as a key tool for aligning personal and strategic
objectives of companies, this scoping review aims to examine the extent, variety and gaps in studies
on leadership communication. For this purpose, the Prisma ScR methodology was used, covering
articles published in the last ten years in the Scopus, Web of Science, Scielo and APA databases.
It is highlighted that transformational leadership and symmetrical internal communication are
essential for employee satisfaction. The research reveals that effective communication by leaders
strengthens organizational culture and employee well-being, identifying gaps on the impact of
different leadership styles and the effectiveness of communication channels.
