Abstract

Currently retaining students' attention in any school environment requires innovation in education didactics. Therefore, to expose methodologies that reinforce learning is of extreme importance, and the active methodology or innovative methodology enrich the professor' s work and the student's reflective capacity. The active methodologies are learning techniques that involve the student as a co-author of their knowledge. Given this, this research aims to identify how the active methodologies contribute to the learning methods innovation in higher education. The methodological procedures adopted were interdisciplinary, qualitative, descriptive and bibliographical research, based on the systematic search type. Through this research, it is concluded that it is fundamental to seek new methods of approach to traditional teaching and to understand that pedagogical innovation may not be found only in technologies but in the ability of the professor to develop new learning skills.
