LEADERSHIP AND POSITIVE ORGANIZATIONS: A BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS

Abstract
This research was elaborated with the objective of presenting the evolution of the literature on leadership and positive organizations, based on Positive Organizational Scholarship (POS) research. For this, a systematic search of the literature was elaborated in the bases EBSCO, SciElo, Scopus and Web of Science. Then, a bibliometric analysis of the results retrieved in the databases was elaborated. Twenty-six publications on the subject were identified, which were analyzed according to the criteria: publications per year, publications by area of knowledge, by country and university, as well as the analysis of publications by authorship standard and source of publication and quotation patterns. In the end, it is particularly noteworthy that: a) publications on POS and leadership still appear to be in their initial phase; b) the need for studies that investigate the historical evolution of the construct, as well as the way in which research on POS and leadership has been developed.
