Thus, the main objective of this work is the analysis of the proposals contained in the Agenda Floripa 2030 compared to the model proposed by Neirott et al (2014). This thesis shows a bibliographic study and documental which brings to light the Smart Cities theory and its main authors. This concept builds a vision of connected cities through communication networks and operates in an integration context with the technological infrastructure of software and hardware’s, implementation of environmental sustainability and the promotion of technological innovation on the market. Through this research a contribution is added into the difficult work of public managers and society on development of new perspectives towards cities management of the Santa Catarina’s state. Society expects for polices that foster smart cities, technological, socially inclusive and environmentally sustainable.
