The study of collaborative networks makes it possible to identify how groups of researchers have been performing their work collectively. This occurs when two or more researchers cooperate with each other in the development of research, projects and works, often resulting in a publication. In this sense, the present work proposes the Analysis of Social Networks (ARS) of the scientific collaborations of the I Workshop on Information Systems (WSI). To this end, a search was carried out in the Databases ResearchGate, Scielo and Google Scholar, in order to know the main works related to the theme. Next, data were collected from
the events' annais and then the data were processed and cleaned with the help of the OpenRefine®. After the processing of the data, they were imported into gephi software® where the collaboration network was created with the aid of specific algorithms to identify the strongest and most evident relationships. The results showed the existence of a central group that collaborated more with each other, and also with a greater number of publications at the event. The use of ARS can help in the identification of scientific collaboration networks, besides allowing the identification of the main authors and research themes. However, this type of analysis is little used in research aimed at the exploitation of collaboration networks in publications of scientific events, as in the case of WSI.
