CHEMTRAILS OVER THE COUNTRY CLUB BY LANA DEL REY THROUGH THE LENS OF TOM GUNNING'S CINEMA OF ATTRACTION

The music video stands out for exploring an imagetic composition that surprises the audience both for its narrative and visual effects. This article analyzes, through the Close Reading method, the music video Chemtrails Over The Country Club by American singer Lana Del Rey. The concepts of Cinema of Attractions and Immersion were used for this purpose. In the end, it is suggested that the audiovisual of Chemtrails Over The Country Club creates an immersive experience by involving the viewer within the atmosphere developed in the music video
