Abstract

Narrative is a powerful tool, both at the design level and in the user experience. Its application goes beyond a story structure and can be embedded in the design through the narrativized interface. On the other hand, digital artefacts lack the factor of embodiment, which, although natural, as it crosses theories of experience and meaning, is displaced from digital design thinking. This paper lists the interface elements that support the narrativized interface and argues its potential in the embodiment. Thus, through close reading, the Jeep Renegade website is analyzed. The results relate the elements that contribute to embodiment, mainly in aesthetics. In addition, direct action also provides a greater connection with the body's movement, expanding the possibilities of interaction embodiment.
