Abstract

In the health sector, due to scientific and technological advances, there is hyper competition, competitive advantages are quickly lost, requiring organizations to constantly create other advantages to survive and grow. This article aims to answer the research question: What are the benefits of competitive intelligence (CI) for the development of health organizations? An integrative literature review was carried out in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. The 11 selected studies present two ways of analyzing the benefits of CI for health organizations: the first concerns procedures, tasks, strategies, and decision-making. The second refers to factors related to patients in improving communication, information flow, reducing service time, perception of quality and assertiveness of diagnoses.
