Abstract

Creativity is essential for innovation in organizations, promoting adaptation and original solutions. The objective of this study was to map the scientific production on creativity, identifying prominent authors, countries, and journals, as well as revealing trends and knowledge gaps. A bibliometric review was conducted, analyzing 13,037 scientific articles from the Scopus, Web of Science, and APA PsycNET databases. The results show an exponential increase in publications on the subject and the formation of an international co-production network, with research evolving towards an interdisciplinary perspective. Creativity is highlighted as a condition for innovation, and the interaction between individuals and their environment is crucial for its manifestation in organizations.
