ANALYSIS OF THE MANAGEMENT MATURITY OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF AN ORGANIZATION THAT WORKS IN THE ANIMAL HEALTH AREA

No contexto atual das organizações vistas como entes cognitivos, o conhecimento é considerado principal ativo, sendo assim, torna-se fundamental gerencia-lo de forma sustentável. Surge a Gestão do Conhecimento (GC) como um conjunto de processos que trata de forma integrada os processos de criação, divulgação e o uso do conhecimento com a finalidade de alcançar os objetivos organizacionais. Porém, um fator para o sucesso da GC nas organizações é a capacidade de definir algumas medidas, para isso, foram desenvolvidos diferentes modelos de avaliação de Gestão do Conhecimento, a fim de contribuir para o melhor desempenho das suas iniciativas. O objetivo do artigo é identificar as contribuições que a GC pode dar à defesa sanitária animal, através da percepção do corpo de médicos veterinários de uma organização que atua na área, analisando os resultados de um diagnóstico da maturidade da GC, utilizando a metodologia Asian Productivity Organization (APO). Este estudo tem natureza descritiva, onde os dados quantitativos foram obtidos através de uma survey. Como resultado no que tange ao nível de maturidade da organização quanto a GC, foi apontado o Nível 2 o de Iniciação, pode-se concluir que a GC é percebida por eles, mesmo não existindo um programa formal de GC na organização.
