ANÁLISE DA MATURIDADE DE GESTÃO DO CONHECIMENTO DE UMA ORGANIZAÇÃO QUE ATUA NA ÁREA DE SANIDADE ANIMAL

Resumen

Knowledge plays a fundamental role in an organization, currently a valuable factor of production. Knowledge Management (KM) deals with the processes of creation, dissemination and use of knowledge in order to achieve the objectives of the organization. An important favorable factor for the success of the KM is the ability to define some measures. To this end, different Knowledge Management evaluation models have been developed in order to contribute to the better performance of their initiatives in organizations. The objective of the article is to identify the contributions that the KM can give to the animal health defense through the perception of the doctors in veterinary an organization that acts in the area of ​​animal health, analyzing the results of a diagnosis of management maturity using the Asian Productivity Organization (APO) methodology. This study has a descriptive nature, where the quantitative data were obtained through a survey. As a result of the level of maturity that indicates a picture of the reality perceived by the technical body (operational level) of the organization regarding the KM, it was pointed out the Level 2 of Initiation, one can conclude that the knowledge management is perceived by them, even though there is no formal KM program.
