Current Issue
The GFIC, ICKM & CIKI Joint Conference 2025 brought together three major international events dedicated to knowledge, intellectual capital, and innovation: the Global Forum of Intellectual Capital (GFIC), the International Conference on Knowledge Management (ICKM), and the International Congress of Knowledge and Innovation (CIKI). Held on November 27–28, 2025, at ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon, in Lisbon, Portugal, the conference was organized under the theme “Shaping the Future of Data, Knowledge, and Innovation with AI for Global Sustainable Change.”
The GFIC promotes international dialogue and exchange on intellectual capital and its contribution to organizations and society. The ICKM provides a global forum for discussing and advancing contemporary approaches, practices, and models in knowledge management. The CIKI, in turn, fosters conceptual, methodological, and practical advances in knowledge management, intellectual capital, and innovation management, strengthening connections among academia, organizations, and society.
The conference was chaired by Florinda Matos as General Chair; Suliman Hawamdeh and Paulo Maurício Selig as Meritorious Chairs; and Nuno Matos, Tereza Raquel Merlo, and Patrícia de Sá Freire as Co-Chairs. Fernando Ostuni Gauthier served as President of the Scientific Committee.
In this edition, the selected full papers were published by Springer, in four volumes of the Springer Proceedings in Business and Economics series. Therefore, these Proceedings comprise the abstracts of the papers presented at the conference and the posters, in English, while the full papers are available in the following volumes:

The International Congress of Knowledge and Innovation - Ciki seeks to promote the conceptual, methodological and practical development of Knowledge Management, Intellectual Capital and Innovation Management.
The event is an initiative of the postgraduate program in Engineering and Knowledge Management of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), the Scientific and Technological Park (TECNOPUC) of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) and the Program College of the Americas (COLAM) of the Inter-American University Organization (IOHE), in partnership with several educational institutions and organizations in Latin America. It is a technical-scientific space in which researchers, decision makers, managers and professionals can collaborate, debate, develop or share theories, methodologies, tools and experiences in these fields. Throughout its history, Ciki has consolidated itself as a space for the exchange of ideas, experiences and trends relevant to the management of knowledge and management of innovation, in the public sector, in the private and academic sectors.
